General Laborer / Crew Hand
This is the foundational field role on our crew. You'll work directly alongside our foreman and equipment operators on fiber optic installation jobs across Wisconsin. Duties include digging, trenching, assisting with duct and direct burial work, and general site support.

What We're looking for:
Locator
Core Tech Construction is hiring an experienced Locator for fiber optic installation work across Wisconsin. You're the first line of defense on every job, and your accuracy keeps the crew safe and the project moving. You'll work directly with our foreman and field crews to locate and mark utilities before every dig. This role requires sharp judgment and attention to detail.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on locating experience

Ability to locate both public and private utilities

Confidence reading difficult or complex signals in challenging conditions

Experience in fiber optic or telecom construction is a plus, but not required
What We're looking for:
Equipment Operator
Our operators are the backbone of every job site: skilled, dependable, and ready to run whatever the project demands. You'll operate a variety of construction equipment on fiber optic installation jobs across Wisconsin. You'll work alongside our foreman and crew on duct and direct burial projects, keeping things moving efficiently and safely.

Proven experience operating construction or utility equipment

Ability to run through a daily pre-operation checklist for each machine

Strong situational awareness and a safety-first mindset on every job

Dependable: your crew is counting on you to show up and perform

Comfortable working outdoors in Wisconsin weather conditions

Experience in fiber optic or telecom construction is a plus, but not required
What We're looking for:
CDL Driver
You'll transport equipment and materials to job sites across Wisconsin, with projects also in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Illinois, and Minnesota. Hauling heavy equipment, loading and unloading safely, and covering long distances when needed are all part of the job.

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — Class A preferred

Comfortable driving long distances and adapting to changing project locations

Clean driving record and a commitment to road and site safety

Reliability: when the crew needs equipment on site, they need it there
